Question for those who have MLB EI on DirecTV. I had both MLB EI and the sports channel package, but dropped the sports channels package over the weekend in order to save some money. When I had the package, MLB EI would show pre/post game shows on the feeds in the 700's. Now that I have dropped the sports channels, I still of course get MLB EI, but both pre and post game shows are no longer on the 700's feeds. Is this typical for those who only have MLB EI, or is this some type of error, and I should be getting pre/post-game feeds as well? Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The pregame shows should still appear within the MLB EI package....at times though following games Directv is quick to pull the plug on the feed for the postgame in that case youd need your sports pack back.

I have to disagree. I have only MLBEI and I do not get any pre or post game shows. The only one I get is Yes or FSNY because I live in NY and those channels belong to my package. You got the pre and post when you had the Sports pack because those portions of their programming are not subject to blackout, and since you were getting the game anyway as part of the MLB EI package and had the sports pack, no rights issues were violated. For example, someone who had only sports pack but no MLB EI would see the pregame and post-game but not the game due to blackout restrictions (unless you live in the hills and dont have any pro teams in your viewing region. MLB EI brings you the game..thats all. Sports pack brings you the programming of the cable station minus the game due to blackout restrictions......does that make sense?
