I see conflicting information about the status of HD locals in the Wichita Falls, TX market. Can somebody confirm which channels are currently available and which satellite is used to send them?

From what I've read, channels 3,6, and 18 are on 61.5. I haven't read anything about channel 7.
I can't confirm, because I'm using an antenna (which works great) and too lazy to call up dish and have them come out and install another dish.
There's a user on here named Bobby H from our area and he said he emailed channel 7 and they said Dish hasn't even offered to carry them. The 61.5 is probably out of bandwidth and they're cherry picking channels to broadcast.

Interesting. James is the first to suggest they are uplinked on 129. All of the other links I had said 61.5. I have no reason to doubt that James is correct but maybe he can double check.

3 of the 4 majors are available from 61.5°. One is also uplinked to 129° (don't know why just one) but nothing in the 4000 range is available yet. The hdlocal page is more focused on what is available, but I can add "also uplinked to 129°" the next time there are other updates.

I have the HD locals in the Wichita Falls-Lawton market. Of the four major networks in that DMA, the NBC, FOX and CBS affiliates are available via E*12 at 61.5°. I had to get a second dish installed to pick up the locals in HD. That satellite is really low on the horizon. I'm lucky trees in the next door neighbor's yard didn't block the view of the bird at 61.5°.
KAUZ-TV (CBS) was added in HD to E*12 in November. In January, KFDX (NBC) and KJTL (FOX) were added in HD.
I don't know why KSWO-TV, the ABC affiliate in Lawton, OK, has not been turned on. It was up-linked and mapped to channel 5150 but I don't think it is anymore. The station is locally owned by Drewry Communications. It was going to be sold last year, but the deal fell through. Perhaps that situation may have something to do with the delays. I haven't received a straight answer about it from the station's management and chief engineer. One of them claimed KSWO was available in HD as a premium item, which really isn't the case.
Anyone in Wichita Falls or Lawton should be able to pick up KSWO over the air in HD with a decent antenna, but it has to be VHF capable. The station's DTV signal is on channel 11.
The OTA broadcasts of KFDX (NBC) and KJTL (FOX) are full power and should come in well in most areas of the market. KAUZ (CBS) is still broadcasting an analog channel. Its DTV signal is not full power yet and probably won't be until the final June 12 end of analog TV broadcasting.

I work for a Drewry station and E* isn't carrying ours as well. I have found out that even though we are being carried in SD that E* think we have no agreement for HD. My GM is going to try a fix the problem. He said I never signed any contract to keep us from being carried in HD. BTW I left a message for the lady that is in charge of the programming section to talk to her. I hope to have info this week so the following week we can get something done. They are carrying the to HD competitors we have in HD. I hope that the week after NAB he will be able to get programming at E* fixed for our area. He will also be able to give the other stations what needs to be done to fix it in their area. It may be one of those in which as soon as the digital switch over took place it was to be carried in HD then. We are unfortunately still transmitting analog.
