Doesn't that mean you will need a Dish 500 to get AT100?
Or are they going to be moving some channels?

What does everybody think of MuchMusic?
Speedvision looks like a good addition to AT100

I would guess that they would be moving it so that folks with a Dish 300 can get it.

Its funny but it does not say when these new channels (well actually only one new channel) will be added.

BTW Welcome to DBSTalk Mark! Feel free to hop in the conversations wherever you see fit. Have fun!

Definatly Great news. Aaron will be happy to hear this. :) MMUSA will mostly likly on 158. Speedvision will be renamed The Spead Channel. BTW- What kind of music genres does MMUSA play?

MuchMusic does play mostly rock and rap music videos, but the majority of music videos the channel plays are by musicians from Canada.

What I want to know is...

How did Dish Network get MuchMusic from Rainbow without having to split IFC (Independent Film Channel) and WE (Womans Entertainment) which is owned by Rainbow?

I would have figured in order to get MuchMusic, WE (Romance Classics) would have to finally get its own channel slot.

Maybe Charlie is getting his hopes up too high on the merger.

I was glad to see that MuchMusic USA (MMUSA) was added to E* lineup. That would be most likely one of the reasons that I would not get DISH (no MMUSA) in the first place. DIRECTV has had that network on their system, my guess would be that they have had it since 1995.
