This poll was taken from CBS's web site, and a option added. For purposes of the contest, this is a non-scoring poll since it's in testing.
Commentary is most welcome, however.

I love watching where they go. It was really neat to me to see them travel through the Mayan Riveria coast last time around, and over to Cozumel and down to Tuluum. I've spent a lot of time down there myself, and that brought a lot of it back for me. One of the many reasons that I love this show!

My reasons for liking The Amazing Race over Survivor:
Survivor takes place at one location.
The Amazing Race travels to various places around the world.
Survivor has some challanges based upon the area.
The Amazing Race is chock full of challanges based upon the location, local customs, what they eat and drink, and even how some of them earn a living.
Survivor is all about alliances and politics. Say the wrong word, and your torch is extinguished.
The Amazing Race is based mostly on luck and skill. While some alliances do form, it usually doesn't affect your placement.
Survivor relies on surviving in one location.
The Amazing Race has all the "fun" aspects of traveling, including trying to drive under different road laws, and reading the map.
Survivor has to think of new ways to make the game different.
The Amazing Race just needs a new set of locations.
And, when a team is eliminated from The Amazing Race, they always commented on how much they were able to see the world.
I love the travel aspect of TAR. Like survivor they always have the 'token' teams/participants. There is always a gay couple, a christian couple, a chick team. More often than not the 'token' team doesn't represent even close to the best of that 'group'. I remember Bert and Ernie from TAR1. Drove my buddy nuts... The christian folks on survivor drive me nuts, like where do they find these people! :) So the teams are a lot of fun to watch and you are always find yourself rooting for a team you never thought you would. Remember Team Cha Cha Cha? They were awesome!

Well, I'm not too surprised at the results. It should be interesting. (Of course, the people on the east coast already know, but I'm still waiting. Is it 7 PM yet? Is it 7 PM yet?)
