Yeah that means its time for a reboot before it crashes and reboots during a recording or cant miss show.

Keep your 721 happy reboot at least once a week!:(

Hold down the power button on the 721 (not on the remote) until it reboots. :D

Krazy K I have seen this before, do not worry about it, over night it will fix itself, something was messed up on your EPG (which explains why the slow channels changes)

You should be back to normal within 24 hours. :)

I have heard that you should not pull the smart card out of the pvr units, it may only go for the 721 though not sure.

I was told that by one of DISH's advanced techs shortly after I got my 721 (and he said that is for all DISH PVRs). He said the best way to reboot a 721 is by pressing the power button on the front of the unit for at least 6 seconds.

Strange, when I've talked with Advanced Tech, they've HAD me pull the card out, while the unit was on and tuned into a channel. That's the way some have had me reboot. Others have had me reboot using the power button. Apparently no one at Dish seems to know what the best answer is.

I believe that the main reason you should not pull the smart card out is because you can get the contacts on the card dirty so that the card does not read.

That's really the only thing I can think off. (could be wrong) :)
