I am curious what really happened. Did the predicted severe OTA antenna problems manifest themselves on 18 Feb? I have googled about every word combination I can think of for further info on this. and I have gotten no where. all I could find were predictions about how bad it was going to be.
My local paper did not report any problems at all, no outcry about I lost some of my local channels. I am really interested in finding out if there were any significant problems (OTA only use) reported by anyone's local papers.
Congress postponed the transition to June 12th.
It will take a while for the fall-out in those markets that did transition to be assessed.

ONE local newspaper in Kansas did an end of the world story the day after ... the rest of the coverage and reports seems to be a non-issue.
Having 60+% of the stations stay on the air helps ... but even in a market like mine where all full power stations killed their normal analog feeds it turned into a one day story. And now the box waiting list is down again as the NTIA catches up on sending out coupons (using only money from expired coupons since the new money has not reached them yet).
People at AVS are complaining about the quality of digital signals ... which is still impacted by the existence of analog TV. Plus channels that moved to VHF-HI that are not quite reaching where they expected the signals to go. Conversion is a work in progress.
