Did these receivers ever exist? If so, would you please provide me a link somewhere for verification?

Yes they did, while they were not Dish Network receivers they were indeed Echostar receivers. If I remember correctly those receivers were C Band units.

I am pretty sure the 2300 is a 3000 with the HTS label on it.

I know that HTS had a 3200 receiver model that was really a 4000, but I didn't find any indication that they had a 2200 or a 2300 that was really a 3000. Do you have a link bogi?

My old model 2000 reciever, which was a HTS one, is labeled 3200.

I know 2200 existed for sure - i had it...
Pretty sure it had UHF remote, but wasn't as fancy as 4000, (more likely some sorta cross between 2000s, 3000s, 4000s) :)
