I'm in TN and want to see the Purdue/MichState game, but am being forced on CBS to watch the UT game. Is there any way I can get the other CBS regional feed somewhere on DirecTV? ie, buying the sports pack or PPV or something??? Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Not talking about CBS MMM for the tourney. I'm talking about tomorrow during regular season. I'm in TN and my local CBS is showing the UT game but the PU/MSU game is on CBS at the same time. Can I get that game by subscribing to the sports pack or somehow on PPV? Thanks!

Channels 728 (728-1) and 729 (729-1) offer other CBS regional feeds if you have the Sports Pack or Premiere.

Wow, thanks for the heads up on that. Has this been going on all season? I never realized supplemental games for CBS were on 728 & 729.

I think so, though I didn't realize either until a couple of weeks ago myself when a team I wanted to watch was not being show in my region. I added Sports Pack and watched them on the 728/729. :D
So the Nashville station isn't showing the TN game but the Knoxville station is?
That doesn't sound right.
Whatever, the MI State - Purdue game will be better anyway. ;)

Actually its in its 6th season. It another DirecTV advantage that they never advertize. Also for football on the rare times they regionalize that.

I wish they would do the same thing for the regional ESPN on ABC telecasts as well!

I am getting a black screen that says 1080i in the upper left hand corner of the screen on the MSU/Purdue HD channel. Is this something wrong on my end or is everyone seeing the same thing?

I saw the same thing. You could get the SD channel fine, but not the HD channel, just the 1080i bug you saw.
There is also CBS Sports (formerly CSTV) regional broadcasts of games, sometimes carried by local OTA affiliates. As far as I know, if it is carried locally OTA, unless you are in a market area that can get the OTA affiliate, there is no way to watch CBS College Sports regional broadcasts.
