I'm getting a new Samsung HL67A750 tomorrow so I'd love some 1080p content to try out but I can't seem to find any, not even the Hulk 1080p test. I've checked VOD and PPV.

Has anyone seen any 1080p content lately?

Excellent! Thanks!

I didn't think to look in "Top Movies".

A keyword search for 1080 reveals those, too.

You'll love that new TV. I just got the a650 46" and it is awesome! Put in a Disney Pixar Blu-Ray and be blown away.

Can you get any 1080p stuff w/o being connected to the Internet?

AFAIK,at this time, you have to have an Internet connection for access to the 1080p material.
It is only available via DirecTV On Demand currently.

How soon before we can see some full 1080p content instead of movie trailers?
Here are some HD videos that I posted on youtube. I pulled them a few years back from my Motorola 6412 HD DVR, via firewire. Will we ever be afforded the same archive ability to off load our favortie shows from our D* hardware???!?!? Here is the link:

The networks don't see the value in investing in 1080p over 1080i. They don't want to pay the extra cost to cater to the small minority who have 1080p sets, and the even smaller minority who can tell the difference. At least in the near term, if you want 1080p content you'll have to settle for a few PPV titles and Blu-Ray movies. It'll change eventually I think, but not for a while.

Are these still available? I tried looking for them last night and couldn't find any 1080p trailers.

FWIW the 1080p trailers previously downloaded have disappeared from my DVR, and I didn't notice any available the last time I looked for 1080p content (within the last week).

Don't see anything on the DirecTV VOD website listings. Not home to check from there.

Same here. When I first posted this thread and received a response I downloaded all the 1080p trailers. They are no longer in my playlist.

Just checked the searches described above and in other threads and it appears they are no longer available...
