Are my direct tv lnb's usable with the dish network?

Yes they are, I use them myself for Dish!

Welcome to DBStalk!

As Scott says, you can use them but they will not fit on a Dish Network dish. You still have to use your DirecTV dish.

They do not fit very well within the Y connector on the DISH 500. There is a small opening on the Dish lnb that slides into a notch on the Y connector. This notch is not on the Dtv lnbs. I tried this putting two DTV lnbs on the Dish 500 and had to wire the lnbs in place. the screws to the Y connector were not long enough nor would the end of the Y connector fit down like it was supposed to.

If you want to use them in the Dish brand dish and then aim them for DTV it'll work great. FWIW

SCOTT do you use them with your dish brand dish or with a dtv dish.

I use them with a DirecTV Oval (ParaTodos) Dish, I have a total of 4 LNB's

119 Is used for Dish Network and DirecTV
110 Is used for Dish Network
101 is Used for DirecTV
98.5 is used for Bell ExpressVu. (Its actually wiretied to the 101 LNB!)

Hopefully you see this..

Looks like your PC may be pullinig up the old page from its Cache.

You may want to clear your cache which should clear up the problem for you.

To do this in Internet Explorer Click TOOLS
The Select Internet Options
Click on the DELETE FILES option. (It will delete the CACHE files only)
Once you are done with that, exit IE then go back in and the problem should be gone.

Snagel, it may not have been you. EZBoard was implimenting some new caching schemes that affect unregistered users. The problems should be fixed now.
