Jim Cramer is supposed to be on The Daily Show tonight. If you haven't been following this spat between them, it's quite interesting: the journalist known for his over-the-top antics and the comedian known for his cutting (if not always accurate) journalism.
(Remember, political discussion is forbidden here at DBSTalk.)

I record this the next morning and am definitely looking forward to it as well as John's side of the whole spat. I saw him originally rip all the news guys last week but have not watched any episodes from this week yet. I saw the piece on the Today show though and have been looking forward to watchinh Jon.

Big Bang Theory and CSI:Miami. Chuck and Medium are repeats. Which is nice, coming into the weekend I had 17 shows on my DVR which is a lot for me, now all I have are the last three episodes of Dollhouse. Did a lot of TV watching this weekend. And I still have to watch Kings which I recorded on the living room DVR.

Homeland Security USA would also be tap for tonight but appears to be a double of episode of Dancing with the Stars.
L&O:SVU had been a long time series link but the show fell off after the first couple of episodes as we grew tired of how the episodes started to focus more on Olivia and her ordeal. We'll still record it if there is nothing else on...

I didn't record or watch anything last night, but this morning at 3:30 I watched "So This Is Washington, " a Lum & Abner movie I recorded a while back.
Tomorrow morning it's probably "Strange Hostel of Naked Pleasures," a Coffin Joe movie.

Not to hijack this thread, but is that a Dish remote-web scheduling application? Or something you built on your own? TIA. /steveI wish it were a remote scheduling application. I do it manually every Saturday using a template. When I first did it, schedules didn't change all that much - there were essentially two seasons with a few mid-season changes. Now I feel like every six weeks I ought to start over again with a blank.
And I can't rely on just one on-line guide any more. I use Zap2It as the base because (1) it's the Tribune Company's guide which Dish (and Direct) uses and (2) I can easily see 6 hours and they clearly mark the first appearance of cable channel shows as "new". Then I have to compare it to TV Guide to figure out what the Tribune folks might have wrong. Then, if I have doubts, I can check the TitanTV guide as the tie-breaker.
Fortunately, I'm retired. I get up in the morning with nothing to do and go to bed at night with it half done.:D
Fortunately, I'm retired. I get up in the morning with nothing to do and go to bed at night with it half done.:D:lol: Gotcha. I'm a DirecTV user, so unfortunately no three simultaneous recordings for me :( I find I have to check the HR2x GUIDES almost daily to make sure that network moves haven't wreaked havoc with my Series Links. Not sure how Dish does it, but DirecTV will put symbols in the GUIDE next to shows that are scheduled to RECORD (or not, because of a conflict). I could also visit the "TO DO" list, but I find the GUIDE method quicker for re-scheduling recordings that are unexpectedly in conflict. /steve
