Glad to see we know have CBS now we just need the CW channel 25 and ABC channel 57.
I wonder if they are working on channel 25 since Smallville on channel 25 was out at primetime and was out for over an hour. Any chance the flipped the switch and it didn't work so it knocked out the sd channel for awhile?

The company that owns the CBS station, WSBT (Schurz), is in the process of buying WBND and WCWW, ABC and CW, from Weigel.
Both companies seem to play hardball with Directv over compensation.

If that is the case and the sell does go through, then it would mean that the CW and ABC would come soon after the sell since they already provided CBS?

The FCC napping on the job as usual. Hopefully Obama's goons will lay down the law on this crap. Why is one company even allowed to buy up practically every channel in that small market anyway.

Hi all, first post.
I've got a good story on this. Last week, was sick of not getting CBS & ABC in HD, so decided to mess with the old antenna on my roof. Couldn't get anything to come in, so researched and ordered a new antenna that got good reviews.
Hooked it up Wed night, got CBS 22 clearly in HD but no others. Better than nothing, right? Then checked DirecTV to compare SD vs HD, and noticed that HD CBS was now available.
So I think you all can thank me for this. If I hadn't bought a new antenna, probably never would've gotten CBS in HD!

Spartan that sounds like something that would happen to me. Now here's my story. I have emailed WSBT SEVERAL times asking them when would I get 22 in HD on DTV. Never a response. Last weekend I lost my local HD channels probably due to high winds messing with dish alignment. I couldn't get a tech until March 21st. It figures that we finally get CBS in HD and I can't get it.
Such is life.

It might have something to do with the NCAA basketball finals being on CBS.
Schurz also owns a station in, I believe, Springfield, Mo. It's an NBC station.
They reached an agreement with Directv the Friday before the Super Bowl.
