AAD 5700 ch's going away??

I checked my schedule and it looks like AAD or dish is removing the NY and SanFran ch's from the 5700's. It tells me to change timers to the ch's in the 240's. Does any one know why they are doing this?

Sucks right ? I watch house & 24 and used both east coast feeds of the channel to record both shows with an overrun so I didn't have to start the episode of 24 to finish watching House. Still no problem I got my timers correct and am optimistically hoping that the removal of those channels means something HD. I can be optimistic right ?

The New York names never made it to the 5700s. The Atlanta named channels were removed last week. The reason is more likely it was a channel list size conservation move. There are 6416 channels in the system with more to come. They have been removing almost as many surplus channels as they are adding new channels.
