Locals in SD going out soon?

So today Directv came out and upgrading some of my SD receivers because I am in the Bloomington, Il viewing area and will not be getting my locals soon on the old receivers.

Does anyone know why this happened. I saw a thread awhile ago but cant find it now. they gave me a new DVR and HD receiver to replace with.

Most likely you have a 2nd dish pointed to 72.5. That satellite is going away and the SD locals are being moved to a new satellite and will be in MPEG4 which is why you need new receivers (and a new dish if you don't already have a Slimline) to get still get them. Basically the SD locals are moving to the same sat that all the HD in MPEG4 is on.
