Actually this seems to happen every few years...

I have a Ti-4600 installed. Nice video card. The S-video output from my 501 goes directly into the video input for that video card so that I can do video capture. Unfortunately, I don't have sound because that requires some replugging.

I'd replug if you can, it is so nice to have that feature. I moved my Dazzle Video Capture device permanently next to my 508 and put one of my PCs near the 508 as well, (no need to keep near VCR since I've converted over all my VHS). I can capture video any time, and the 30 minute buffer really helps going back on no notice to record something like on the news or something.
