I have two and sometimes three receivers in my basement at one time to watch bball and NFL games. Well Directv just updated my DVR by Tivo with a new DVR and now everytime I change a channel it changes the others as well. it wont work on the volume but just the channels and turning on the receiver.

Is there a way to program it so it wont affect the other receivers? Thanks..

They are HR22's and R22's.

program your remotes for RF mode. hit the menu button, then go to Parental Fav's & setup, System Setup,Remote, select IR/RF setup, Hit select to bring up a drop down menu then select RF and go to continue. Follow the on screen directions. do this for each receiver & remote.

If you go through the RF setup for your remote it will only work with the receiver you set it up with.

Or you could follow the steps in the post below to use IR on 2 boxes.

You would need to go into "Remote > Advanced Setup" on the third box and follow the steps to setup the third remote to work independently in IR.

I don't think, at least for harmony's, you need the seperate codesets. use a d* remote to set the dvr up to required code and use the learn function on the universal remote.

I'm running 3 hr21 off a harmony 1000 using the same initial database set. just did a quick learn of 2 or 3 buttons from the d* remote after entering the 0001 00002 ect codes.

HERE (http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=4687)are all eight codesets for jp1 remotes. HERE's (http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=5515) a list of jp1 remotes.

Of course any learning remote could learn the other codes from a D* remote. I built all those jp1 upgrades using an RC64.

I've done the same with my Harmony and I'm using 00001, 00003 and 00007.

I'm really hoppin' that the Xsight has them. :D

I couldnt get the RF to work on the R22 dvr. Is there a reason why?

If the only remote you have is the one that came with receiver, thats the reason why you can't switch to RF, the r22 remote is strictly IR. You can tell if its a RF remote by the FCC sticker on back.
