Hyperlink Issue

For all who use outlook I am having an issue. When I create a new email and type or copy and past a link, email address, website, anything really it use to go like this, for example

I would type www.dbstalk.com and hit inter it would turn the link blue so when I sent it whoever could click on it and open the site. But now when I type www.dbstalk.com and hit enter it turns into this { HYPERLINK "http://www.dbstalk.com" }

Is there a setting somewhere that was changed?

If you switch to rich text format, it will convert it for you.

you mean in tools--->options--->mail format? It didnt work
