I'm getting ready to install 2 SWM8s and have already purchased 4 skywalker SKY23302D splitters. Since these have power passing on both legs, I'm assuming I'll have an issue. Has anyone used DC blockers (such as these http://www.solidsignal.com/prod_display.asp?prod=VBC) with this configuration? I'm trying not to go through the RMA route to switch splitters.

Thanks!

The Skywalker splitters you're using are "power steering" with a diode (hence the "D" in their designation). I don't think you'll have a problem as-is.

"+1" and may be even better since which ever SWM has the higher voltage will take over powering the LNBs, without doing anything.

I use these in an SWM/WB68 combo and they work great.
