I've noticed we now have a post "edit history" feature to track every poster's edits to their posts. Isn't this a little over the top? As a professional editor and writer I do a lot of editing (nitpicking) of my own posts and I don''t necessarily want the whole world to see what a freakin' nitpicker I am about my own writings. In fact, moreso than I ever was back in the day when I was a curmudgeonly Speeling & Gramer cop -- you guys got off light!
IMO, just because we have a new vBulletin feature doesn't mean we have to use it.
Two questions:
1. Is there a good reason for forcing a universally viewable edit history on all users?
2. Why don't users have the option to disable the feature under "User Options"?
