With the regular season wrapping up, what new shows do you plan on viewing this Summer?

My Summer habit has become Big Brother. Love the internet feeds that go with it. Also, just can't get enough of Julie Chen. A little skinny for my taste but still hot. :)

Good question. This has been one of the better seasons for me. The GUARDIAN, JUDGING AMY, CSI CRIME SCENE AMERICAN IDOL BERNIE MAC, WANDA, MY WIFE & KIDS and AMERICAN DREAMS had been outstanding. My other favorites ER, RAYMOND, LAW AND ORDER , FRIENDS and COPS while a little below other seasons still had me watching every week. I even started to enjoy the Jim Balushi show. I did quite alot of PVR recording!! I enjoy CHANGING ROOMS and they are in a new season, and I like most of the late night talk shows both network and cable so will record them and watch during prime time the next night. Luckily the Red Sox are on most everyday. I am a movie nut so HBO will tuned for movies as well as boxing and their sports shows.

On a related topic, being able to remember and still watch many programs from years past, many of the shows the last couple of seasons really are as good as at anytime before IMHO. The writing is much better than a few years ago overall especially on the GUARDIAN and JUDGING AMY and usually LAW AND ORDER. While M*A*S*H will probably always be my favorite of all time, many of the newer shows really are worth watching.

I'll be watching reruns of episodes I missed the first time around from my favorite shows. Although I did see every Twilight Zone and almsot every CSI:Miami, but I did miss quite a few CSI episodes in the beginning of the season. Maybe I'll catch some L&O repeats too.

4 season passes left. Futurama and Family Guy on Toon, Coupling on BBC-A, and Insomniac on Comedy. And I'm pretty sure those shows will be cycled thru back to repeats and I'll remove those season passes as well

Big Brother (love the internet feeds as well!), The Amazing Race IV, The Dead Zone (Season 2 part 2), Monk, The new Showtime Friday night show, Jeremiah, all the DVDs I've bought over the year but haven't watched yet, John Doe (all recorded but not yet watched), 24 Season 2 (when the DVDs come in August), Boomtown (all recorded by not yet watched).

That's about all that comes to mind at the moment.

Stargate SG-1 is supposed to be restarting with another season soon. The Wire returns to HBO, with Sex and the City close behind. My wife and I have just started watching Trading Spaces so we have tons of old episodes to catch up on.

My 721 was down to about 22 hrs. of free capacity. It'll take me at least a month or two to get that back up to 80 hrs. now that rerun season is here.

Is that back? Are they advertising it? If they are advertising it, they are doing a pretty bad job :(

Big Brother 4 and possibly Fame are the only new shows that I will be watching. But I just started watching My Wife and Kids and The George Lopez show, so I get to catch up with that.

I guess it will be movies and specials as well as some new shows and some I have not seen all of them yet or have not seen for a long time since Everwood and 7th Heaven among others are reruns this summer. WB is my favorite channel.

Showtime's not advertising Jeremiah yet, but JMS has said that Jeremiah season 2 should start towards the end of next month. That's what they've told him.

I'll be watching my son play outside. Sorry, not trying to be smart, just felt "cabin fever" this winter.

Hope to get a a HD receiver before summer ends and see some stuff on that. Probably won't happen but I would love that...

(Wonder if broadcast reruns will be in HD in my area?)

Giants games, and, like Mark, "all the DVDs I've bought over the year but haven't watched yet". :)

Oh, and I'm going to put an antenna on the roof this summer in time for all that new network HD programming next season.

I hope to be watching The Pitts on FOX this summer. I really liked that show, and it has been advertised as returning this summer.

I'm with tomsoundman on this one. I hope to watch the grass grow by day and the stars move at night. :)

TV is a great pastime when it is raining or cold, but when summer comes, I leave my house at the edge of the national forest to find other national forests. I am going to southern Utah next month and maybe the Minnesota northwoods in July. The only electronic entertainment, besides my car radio, I take with me is my mp3 player and flash cards filled with audiobooks.

About the only thing I have been watching since there has been reruns, the 721 second tuner quit functioning to where you could record anything on it (been like that most of the year I had it) and because of being a lot busier out of the house more, I just watch mainly CNN Headline News, The Weather Channel, and Number One Countdown on Fuse, along with Top 20 Countdown on VH-1.
