Best Buy is a great store and I go there often, but I have been able to find better deals on electronics at local furniture stores. On Saturday, I bought a Toshiba 32" flat-screen tv (model 32AF42) for $599 from RC Willey, a local furniture store for $599. The exact tv at Best Buy is $649. I also find their price for cables and other accessories to be out of line as well. Often I can find the same stuff at Wal-Mart for far less. Fun place to browse, but I don't buy much there. YMMV.

I sometimes think I single handedly keep Best Buy in business. I've spent thousands of dollars there over the past year. Although some of their pricing can be a little high, if you wait long enough almost everything goes on sale at one time or another. I also like their price matching policies. Just this past month I've received over $200 back on items that went on sale a few weeks after I bought them. Also, some "open box" items can be a steal. I recently purchased a $200 progressive scan DVD player for $129.

To request a store in your town, go to this web page and select "Add a Best Buy store in my town" in the drop down box:

I think Best Buy, Costco, Sam's Club, and Amazon gets rich off my DVD purchases.

Prez...Even though Best Buy is only 3 miles away from me, I still use www.bestbuy.com. I've made many purchases through the web site and it's great!

See ya

Going to Best Buy is always a treat for me. The only Best Buy is in an odd location that I don't get out to that way much. It's fun browsing the DVD-A titles, playing with the D* receivers, playing with ReplayTV, going to the car audio section to search for the perfect system and more. Best Buy is one of the few stores I enjoy going to.
