I've considered taking the front panel apart a changing out the leds to red or purple a few times but never have. I'd hate to have the unit fail and go through the work to put blue ones back in. But to answer the question on both of my DVRs the Blue lights are Blue in color.

"What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it."

stupid questions are ones that don't get asked.

I think the survivors would be pretty pissed if you buried them!

:hurah:

And EMS didn't do such a hot job of triage! ;)

Folks, if this is intended to be a humor thread, I'll move it to the OT. Otherwise, perhaps we can get back to the topic, which may or may not be the spectral definition of the LEDs used in HR2x DVRs.

I'm pretty sure the blue ring is just that, blue.

Now there have been reports of the record light being red, orange, or even amber.

You could attribute this differences in color vision but I seem to remember reports that the record light being different from what the poster had before(red, orange, or amber).

It is a quandry....and an interesting one at that...

I see that you're amused by annoying others. I'll keep that in mind as I ignore your posts in the future.

If you want to joke around go to the OT. That's what it's there for. Have a blast.
