A local channels question.

I just got an e-mail from the Asst. Chief Engineer of the local CBS affiliate who said the install starts tomorrow, so anyhow does anyone know how long it'll be before they'll be on DirecTV?

Which market are you talking about? That would be a big help.

Might not be the same market and if not its even better because it means they are working on at least 2 of them rather quickly but I got an email from the Fox affiliate in Green Bay, WI and he said they went up (for testing possibly?) on DirecTV last week and Dish won't be far behind.

DirecTV said that Shreveport should be available mid-year. You probably only have less than two months before they'd be available.

all of green bay wiscosnin is on but PBS . I have the locals for nbc , fox , cbs , wb , upn . that is what is coming now .

Great news. Now hopefully Charlie doesn't muck it up and have retransmission problems with any of the affiliates. I thought either UPN or WB were low power stations.......but I'm not sure, and Dish doesn't seem to like those. I don't know which of the locals Dish will elect to carry but hopefully all 6 now that DTV has since all of them are available.

Yes we have ABC . WBAY is our ABC , WFRV is our CBS , WACY is our upn , our NBC is WGBA and WIWB is our WB . I have had them on since before memorial day .
