I have been doing some landscaping and one of the projects was to clear out an old tree next to the deck. Well, the tree is gone, but now the dish looks like it is way too high next to the deck. It is a pole mount. So what I would like to do is lower the dish from 4' down to at least 3'.
My concern is getting signal due to some very tall pines. (The skinny ones with needles just at the top.). If you get behind the dish and look straight up the feedarm, the LOS barely clears the top of the trees. I know the dishes "look" higher than the feedarm, but does anyone know how much higher. My concern is the 99/101/103 slot as there are no trees towards the 119.
Any suggestions? TIA.
