I currently have a Dish 5000 and it uses the following ASICs

LSI L64704 DVB-S demodulator (QPSK only)
LSI L64002 MPEG-2 decoder
79R3041 RISC 32 bit CPU
LSI Custom chip (Transport Demux/Decrypt)

Could someone please tell me the ASICs that are used inside the Dish 6000 IRD?

Also, I looking for the datasheet for the LSI L64002 Mpeg-2 decoder and the LSI L64008 TS DMUX.

Thanks,

You incorrectly stated about the first 3 ICs - they are not ASIC.

If to answer to your question exactly, then 6000 have only two ASICs
- LSI L2A1077 CUTTER
- LSI L2A1187 CI ASIC
may be you will be interesting to know the receiver have PLD
- XILINX XC9572XL
ans a few VLSI:
- STi7000, ST20TP4, STi4600, Bt865, etc.

Can I ask you - what a purpose of such knowledge ? Dishnetwork never published any technical desription, schematics of satellite's receivers.
