I'll be testing the x64 tonight downloaded via remote desktop last night and wasnt' sure I wanted to install drivers remotely :D, out of curiosity why did you use the 32bit?

I'm seriously considering building an I7 rig and getting that 4890 (1GB), could really be a beast system and I'm pretty sure i could build for under a grand.

Thanks for sharing....
Its interesting that the 9.3 Catalyst drivers for the ATI units just was released a month ago...so almost wondering if they uncovered a bug after that date....
In any case...getting the new update.

hdtv, they released these specifically for dx11/win7 if I am not mistaken. I have had some BSOD's with the 9.3 drivers (no catalyst)

There are versions for all the OS's....9.e was indeed primarily released for WIN 7 update content....but also had a few bug fixes in it (or so I was told when I called support)While v9.3 was running just fine here with XP...there were obviously some kinds of problems, as a new update in less than 30 days is a bit unusual.
In any case....v9.4 is out there for XP, Vista, and WIN7, and the latest version everyone should use (it took less than 5 minutes to do the full update/reboot).
There are some fixes for 1024 X 768 presentation, among other things. I always get the full Catalyst software update with drivers for my ATI Radeon card.
Nvidia releases drivers just about weekly it seems (literally!) :p

Really - that's almost scary.

Well they also package most of their drivers into one package (which makes it REALLY nice to support as all the models are rolled up into one) plus they have a lot of features and different models out there that are always being tweaked which leads to lots of driver releases. Many times core features will not change very often so you dont always have to worry about being the most up to date, especially with the older cards (which many times do not support the new features being implemented). But for example this more major release is good for everyone to get and install.
Frankly I love nvidia drivers though, they have always been some of the cleanest to install and work. ATIs drivers have always been notoriously annoying to PC techs in the field. Both have their ups and downs though :(

Hmmmm...I've actually used both NVidea and ATI cards, and found little difference - both work well.
I had a February driver installed but thought I'd try and have Vista search for the new one.
Well, it installed one from 2008?!
Backed that out and went directly to nVidia and got the latest version. Works OK so far.
