All right, now that we have some idea of what the teams look like, it's time for week #2.

There will be one point for just voting, and one point for voting correctly.

On the next episode of The Amazing Race: (http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race4/)
It Doesn't Say Anything About First Come, First Served. And We're Bigger.
Description: Teams slide down a snow covered mountain; a team bullies it's way to the front of a line; an injury threatens a team's confidence.
* While most Teams streak down a mountain on a raft, Kelly & Jon slide down on their butts.
* Reichen & Chip bully their way to the front of a line and block a door, angering other Teams.
* Dave's injury grows worse, threatening his and Steve's confidence.
* In a heart-pounding race to the finish, one mistake could make the difference between staying in the Race and elimination.

Just curious, but do 1st place contestants get any advantage on future legs of the race or does everyone always start equally?

Also this thread title needs editing.

Each team starts 12 hours after they arrive at the pit stop, so yes - teams that arrive 4 hours ahead of another team leave 4 hours ahead. But, after the 1st season, the race has been designed so that no team can get too far ahead of the others. Usually teams come back together in airports or while waiting for places to open where they have to do events. For example, getting to a museum at 2AM, but the museum doesn't open until 8:30AM.

Thanks Mark for fixing that. I probably made a typo someplace.

I think I was told before, but why is it, that I can't vote using my compuserve browser, and have to open an IE window to vote?

The voting code that vbullitin uses doesn't work under the compuserve browser, unfortunately. Maybe when we upgrade to the new version when it's released, that'll change. Can't say for sure one way or the other, though.

My wife and I have watched all 3 seasons so far and that 1st season was hilarious the way that evil team was like 2 days behined everyone else at the end. They didn't even get to the finish line for the group picture! It was priceless. Evidently so much so that like Mark said, they changed the game a little so now we have the "equalizers".

Well, the knowledge of First Place and Last Place is kinda helpful. One team was in last place for several rounds, but managed to get to the end (Terri and Ian).

Of course, being first doesn't mean you don't get eliminated in the next round. In a previous amazing race, one team was first, only to the eliminated in the following leg.

(Great way to bump the thread. Closing 'em at 9 PM PT aka midnight ET)
