I just noticed that the CallerID function on my PVR501 stopped working. The last time I remember it working was before P196.
Has anybody else had this problem with P196?
Usually it is caused by a grounding problem but until now, I NEVER had a problem with callerid. Not one. However, nothing has been changed (ie. no new phones, electronics) and nothing has been rearranged so I'm at a loss.
I even did a soft reset by holding down the POWER button on the base unit and reinserting the phone cable into the unit.
After calling 10 times in a row (from another phone number) with no success, I hit the PVR button and viewed my recorded events. When I made another test call while in this screen, a CallerID screen popped up. Further calles gives me about a 50% success rate while viewing this screen.
Went back to normal viewing but CallerID still doesn't work there.
Grrrr....

I have another phone with callerid and it works perfectly.
