Meeting the programming needs of the growing Chinese community in the U.S.,DirecTV has launched CCTV-4,another in a wide array of channels from Asia that DirecTV is providing to its customers.
CCTV-4,available for no additional charge on DirecTV's MandarinDirect III International package,offers a variety of arts and literature programs such as "China Showbiz","Around China" and instant news from China.

Cool for those involved. Strange to see that is added to the, from my installation experiences, MandarinDirect package and not the more popular Jadeworld.
This might be a painful install experience for a lot of upgrading customers.

The Jadeworld package is mentioned toward the end of the PR. :)

How I read it CCTV-4 is not included in Jadeworld.

I think you're right...I just took a quick glance at it when I posted the Jadeworld reply.
I don't subscribe to any of the International programming,but thought the PR would be interesting news for folks on here. :)
