HDVR2 extended Warranty

Ok I have had my unit fo 5 months now and am thinking about a hard drive upgrade..  I bought the three year exstended warranty.

It is now passed the three month warranty  if I upgrade do I blow the three year warrany I bought???

If you decide to upgrade, you blow your 3 year warranty. However, my personal opinion would be to go for the upgrade... usually if you buy a pre-formatted hard drive from weaknees or Orbitsat, they will throw in a 1 year warranty and tech support to install it.
