508 and no signal on transponder 6 part 2

Got 508 installed yesterday and got no signal on transponder 6 called dish and they said this was a known problem since last software upgrade and there bringing a new one tomorow.

For the past week or so, I have been having trouble receiving certain channels on both my 301 and 508 receivers. I called Dish and they pointed out that it was only channels on certain transponders. They claimed it was a "Lens Problem" and are sending me a new part for the dish (I have to pay the $12 shipping--cheap *******s). Is that totally bogus? Since everything was working fine before, I would guess it's a software issue.

Bender the first thing the csr told me when i told him it was transponder 6 was that it was a known problem with the 508.They brought me a brand new one the next day.They first wanted to send a refirb. one but since i just got it the day before they sent out installer with a new one.The installer didnt even know how the transponders worked or that different transponders had different channels on them.I had to explain it to him.PS i had a dishplayer that i replaced and he didnt even no how to operate it.
