You can go straight through the D* website which will send your application to the local HSP. In this case it is mastec though.
Sometimes these things take a while.

I do know for a fact that business is very slow for mastec in orlando though.

You can also apply for Dish Network.

Thanks for the info and the quick response.

Do you have any experience and/or tools?

If you have the means, I highly suggest finding something else to do. Working for Mastec is a horrible experience. Working for their sub contracting companies is even worse. It used to be profitable. Unless you go independent I wouldn’t waste your time. If you do go for it, I wish you the best of luck, it can be a fun!

I have been w/ dtv back when it was ussb/dtv. I installed the entire system myself. I have followed this forum and fixed a lot of problems myself (thanks for your help!) But i dont have many tools or experence. Just a love for high tec stuff.

Sorry to hear about mastec. I like doing this type of work around home and was thinking that maybe i could make some $ doing it. I work at a big 3 dealership now but as we all know the future is doubtfull. Just looking for somthing fun to do. Thanks!

In most areas, techs are being let go. Start-up costs are high, and many of the companies aren't doing so well, so getting paid could be a problem. I'd really look elsewhere.
