Wednesday evening 8:30PM - NBA Finals live and in living color.

Anyone know if there has been a resolution in the Allbritton/Dish dispute?

If you're seeing them legit, I'd say SOME sort of agreement has been reached, but we probably will never see it...

per Dish Website:

ECHOSTAR REACHES AGREEMENT WITH ALLBRITTON TO PROVIDE LOCAL ABC PROGRAMMING FOR SATELLITE TV VIEWERS IN WASHINGTON D.C., TULSA, HARRISBURG, AND BIRMINGHAM. READ ON FOR DETAILS.
We have reached a retransmission agreement with the ABC affiliates owned by Allbritton Communications Company and these stations are reinstated to channel line-ups of eligible customers. These ABC stations are back on air in the following markets, effective June 4, 2003:

WJLA - Washington, D.C.KTUL - Tulsa, OK
WHTM - Harrisburg, PAWJSU - Birmingham, AL

DISH Network customers impacted by the temporary shutoff of the Allbritton-owned ABC stations will receive a one-month credit of $5.99. Customers subscribing to DISH Network's America's Top 50 Local Value Pak will receive a one-month credit of $5.00.

Thank you for expressing your opinions to the decision makers and other people of influence in this dispute. Your involvement has been vital in getting the ABC stations back on DISH Network.

So, it would appear that Allbritton decided to remove the verbage that violated the SHVIA.

Thanks to Charlie and Echostar for standing up for customer rights. I would have hated to see escalate and seen blackouts and other nonsense.

I know Charlie can be frustrating at times, but on issues like this he really steps up to the plate.
