Receiver or LNB Problem?

Hi. I've had an HR21-200 for almost a yr now, and all has been fine until friday...suddenly, signal meters for tuner 2 for all HD sats went to 0. Tuner 1 for the HD sats are in the 80's-90's, while both tuners are working fine for non HD sats? can this be a faulty receiver or a bad LNB? im pretty sure its not the cables or the bbc's since i tried each one of them on tuner 1 and they all worked fine...anyone had a similar problem?

Sounds like your tuner 2 croaked. If you detach the BBCs from the receiver, swap tuners and the problem follows the tuner, the tuner is almost certainly the problem.

You had better get started now with watching any content that you haven't already.

If you have not done so yet, try a reset. Menu, setup, reset, restart receiver.

Having already swapped coax and BBC, and having the problem/symptom not change, pretty well narrows down the issue to the HR21.

yeah, i tried both bbc's and coax cables on tuner 1 and they work fine. i actually had my friend bring his receiver over and it was working fine :( guess i gotta get a new receiver...thanks for the input.
