Bug: DP confused about week ahead listings

I read here about the new 9 day guide for Dishplayers and excitedly checked it out as soon as I got home. It took me exactly 10 seconds to find a very silly bug with it. IMO Dish or Microsoft should have caught this bug in software testing in the same amount of time.

Go into listings for a week from today. First off, the listing page shows only the day-of-the-week (no date!) which is obviously ambiguous now. Ok, that's an omission, not a bug.

So then I hit INFO for a show. Guess when it says the show will be on? TODAY

I go on to the next day of listings (eighth day out) and hit INFO for a show. Guess what? It says the show is on TOMORROW. :rolleyes:

That's a pretty serious problem... that will (probably) not be a trivial fix.

You ought to try pressing RECORD on one of those '8th day' shows and see if it fires TOMORROW.

I wish Dish would test their new software using people like chessmaster1010 instead of random farm animals... :(

It is better than my problem: My DP will not even download the guide! It frezzes at about 5%.

I'd think it would be a trival fix. When you hit record, it shows the correct date, toad57.

The 9 day guide is only delivered from the 110 satellite. That is your problem. Only the 44 hour guide comes from 119.
