Dom DeLuise died in his sleep last night at the age of 75. This wonderfully funny family man was an incredible talent and leaves a giant pair of shoes to fill.

RIP

My favorite role of his may be as Cesar in "History of the World Part 1": "Treasure bath!!!"

R.I.P. Captain Chaos, we'll miss you.

Haven't thought about Don Deluise in a long time and I'd have been hard pressed to determine whether or not he was still alive.

Regardless, I have a lot of fond memories of him.

'That's OK. I always wanted to be... Captain USA! Da da daaaah! It's a dirty job, JJ, but somebody's got to do it...'

Definitely a sad day. Dom Deluise voiced some of my favorite animated characters like the bird in "The Secret of NIMH" and the cat in "An American Tail".

He will be missed.

Wow another icon of my childhood just kicked the bucket. Dom was in some of my favorite movies from back in the day. Hopefully TMC or FOX movie will do a salute or tribute to Dom and we can see some of the gems that have not been released on DVD yet like Hot Stuff which he also directed.

I am a child of the 70's so losing Dom DeLuise really makes feel old for some reason.
