Which tuner am I using?

Using PVR 721...I know that swapping in PIP is effectively flipping the tuners, so my question is: How do I know which tuner is which?  The reason I ask is that in troubleshooting, some people state their problem is with "tuner 2".  Can I dictate which tuner to record with?

The only way I know of is to disconnect one of the tuner inputs from the back, then with PIP up note which one you lost, then reconnect and keep careful track as you swap back and forth Try keeping them on separate and visually distinct channels. Like Foxnews or a ballgame on one and Cartoon Network on another. Channel bugs are helpful in keeping track (about the only time they are useful!)

Anyone have another method?
