Samsung BD-P2500 and Little Leaps system

Anyone have any luck setting up the Little Leaps (http://www.amazon.com/LeapFrog-10210-LITTLE-LEAPS-PLATFORM/dp/B000EIV1OM) system with this BluRay player (or any other Samsung BR, for that matter)? Didn't think about that when we took the old DVD player off the setup and now I have an upset toddler. :lol:

My guess is the remote simply is not compatible with Blu-ray players. This is a very common situation. The remotes for Blu-ray players are quite different from those for regular DVD players.

I was afraid of that. :(

I guess the promise of less equipment in my setup was fleeting. :lol: Time to drag that DVD player back out.

Blu-Ray players are considered a separate type of player (just like DVD players were a different component than CD players when DVD was released), and use totally different codesets than DVD players. And that's a good thing, as many people still have a need to have both devices in the room, and need independent control.
