Why is Dish only showing the "whip-around" coverage on ESPN and ESPN2? I know that they have the Grand Slam package, but certain games are supposed to be protected in home markets:

I am sure that the cable systems in the home markets are using the Grand Slam feeds to show the protected games in their entirity. I would have thought that Dish would have used zip codes to enable the Grand Slam feeds for the appropriate games and markets.

I wonder if this is Dish's responsibility or something mandated by ESPN? Looks like I will have to go to my parents house tonight if I want to see the entirity of the Texas-FSU game on cable.

Usually the ESPN alternates are used for separate games.

My ESPN2 showed LSU/Baylor game and I'm in the SC market..... They should have had the USC/UNC on ESPN2...... I do have the Grand Slam package so it was no big deal.....
