Looking for any input anyone can provide with New triple LNB Directv Dish. I am using a Sony HD200 receiver.
When first installing the dish I recieved fine signals from SAT A and B. I was unable to get any signal off of SAT C. I had a few trees that I thought may be blocking my signal, so I moved my dish to the top of my house. Clear line to Satellites now. However, now I get only signals off of SAT A and SAT C. SAT B I get no signal. I moved the dish a few degrees in all directions still with no signal. I have high (80 or above) signals on all transponders for A and C now. However B I am unable to get anything. Why on my triple lnb do I have 4 coxial connections...?? Is this purely to be able to plug in four different receivers? I guess I am very perplexed on why I had SAT B before and no C and now I have C and no B. Does it sound like I have a flaky lnb?
Any suggestions are appreciated

I'm no expert but I just recently upgraded to HD200 and triple LNB and I had a similar problem.

It MAY have something to do with the way the SatC LNB kit has to patch in to either the A or B. The C Kit that I purchased had a diagram detailing how to connect it to the other LNB.

You may have properly installed the C LNB but I thought I'd just offer the suggestion.

Well after many calls to DTV and Circuit City and Terk and WNC (name on the dish) it appears that this is a know issue. The model on the dish is a AU2. California amp makes the LNBs for this and many other triple lnb dishes. Evidently there is a problem with recieving a signal from the B or C Sat. You get fine signal on two...but no signal from the third. I actually had a Signal on B then it moved to C...strange..but sounds like a switching problem. I currently have Terk and WNC sending me out new head units (trip LNBS/mulitswitch)

I had to put up a second dish just for Sat B for my HD200 install.

It turns out that I am in New England and Sat B (119) is slightly lower that the others. I was unaware of this. So I was getting 101 and 110 fine but 119 Hidden behind some trees. Even though my single LNB dish used to work fine...I had to move my install further back away from the trees in order to get B.
