Does anyone know any details as to how many NFL Sunday Ticket games will be in HD and/or widescreen this year?
I found this on HDNET's news link:
"In addition, under terms of its new five-year agreement with the National Football League for exclusive rights to NFL SUNDAY TICKET™, DIRECTV also plans to begin offering high-definition telecasts of professional football games during the 2003 regular NFL season."

The main reason I ask is I currently have both Dish Network and Directv. Dish for HD and core programming, Directv for NFL Sunday Ticket. I live in Anchorage, Alaska and for each Directv Sat. you need a 6' dish which cost around $1,000, and for Dish you only need a 30" which came free for me w/ programming. If the NFL is in HD I might have to go exclusive to Directv, but it's really expensive up here. any ideas? will they be on 110 or 119 or both?

THANKS!

According to the new agreement and to people Ive talked to at least SOME games in the NFL Sunday Ticket will be available in HD starting this season....I have no idea if they would be on 110 or 119 or both however.

I thought the Sunday Ticket was on 101? I use to have an 18" dish and receive the ST on 101. I know HD is on 110 because I have yet to have the 110 LNB installed on my now oval dish. I know that I will have to purchase a "SAT C" hook up for the 110 location on my dish when I decide to go with HD. I know there are a lot of locals on the 119 location..

Bet the one's in HD will be AFC games, since CBS has the broadcast rights for the DMAs. We all know how commited Fox is to HD.
