Sopranos do it again

The Sopranos will not begin their 5th season until sometime in March/April 2004. The only comforting part about this is that they will probably go with 19 episodes instead of 13. And so it goes...

I enjoy the show and I'll certainly be watching each week when the series finally starts season five. But, I get the feeling the the producers of the show enjoy keeping the fans waiting for the new season to start. They did it last season and, now, they are doing it again.

IMHO, the whole thing seems to smack of arrogance on their part. It's as if they are saying, "we'll deliver these shows to HBO when we are good and ready to do so. If you don't like it, you can lump it".

Someday, this attitude may backfire on them.

Hey folks, most people wait 3 years for a new 2 hour James Bond film. We wait 15 months for a 26 hour opus each season. A little perspective..... Absence makes the heart grow fonder..... (I miss Buffy already)

Spike punches her in the nose and proves she isn't a demon. Some classic moments. And in about 1 week or so "Body" will air (get your tissues out).
