hi everyone i am not new to driectv or to this forum but i am a bit confused about this. I have 2 hddvr's hr20-700 and a hr22-700 . yesterday i upgraded my master bedroom reciever to a h21 did not need a dvr in bedroom. I am not sure whitch dish to select in the set up i have a slimline dish with 3 lnb's. when i select the slimline3 lnb in the setup i only see sats 101,99a,99b,103a,103b, no 110 or 119. but i do seem to have all my chanles. when i select 5 lnb's i do see the 110 and 119 in the signal strength screen. whitch is the proper one to select? also is the 99a the conus and 99b the spot and the 103a spot and 103b the conus this seems to be as per my readings. was wondering why both a and b are not the same. my other recievers are labeled c and s so i am not sure about this just wondering. also what chanles come over the 110 and 119 i think these are the old sats. thanks for any input.

110= legacy MPEG2 HD
119= chinese/spanish packages, secondary DMAs SD locals

Select the LNB which you actually have installed.

How long ago was your installation performed? You most likely have a 5-LNB, even though it appears to only be 3.

99 & 103 a/b and c/s are the same thing. They are just labeled differently.

tanks for your replys. i have had this dish for about 2 years got it right after they stoped the side car one. i guess i don't need the 110 or the 119 as i don't watch any of the chanles off thoes sats. my other recvers are set to slimline but no lnb's are listed just slimline. i also thought it was strange that the 99a is the spot and the 103b is the spot thought they should both be a for spot but all is working great. thanks for all the great info you all supply here

Can someone who knows a bit more than me verify this? If you have a 5 LNB and set your receivers to 3 LNB, you will have problems, right? I recall reading that somewhere on this forum.
