Glitches in PVR oplayback. A slowdown in the replay speed thats not there if you go back over the same spot.
Anyone else see this? Its not a big problem more of a nuisance....
Yup, have it a lot in my recorded events. I can watch a show live, no glitch. But watch the same one on PVR, and I'll get a glitch here and there where it seems to either pause or pixelate briefly, then start again as if nothing happened. Yet go back to the same spot, and no glitch. That's one of the things on my list to include when the replacement comes and I send this unit back.
Still kinda freaked about the black screen when changing channels though. Another random bug that happens when it wants, but not always.

Same deal here.. lots of freezing/pauses and then fine the next show. Really hope it gets fixed, as the is no reason for it as the show recorded does not have the glitch... So it is Hardware/Software issue.

It seems to me that it does like a computer does. Lets say that you play a song on your computer and it is doing other functions, the song might stop for a sec or jump. I think the 721 processor is so busy that it may cause this. Sometimes you can hear the hard drive working when this happens.
Agreed with Jacob's thoughts, when it does happen I sometimes hear the 721 working like when I PC is doing multiple tasks. I usually just skip back 10 and the same spot is fine. Least of the many things I wish they would take care of, one of the most annoying is not having a better way to organize stuff and that it always goes back to a sort by date.

Its like it loads up and can handle only so much at once. They do tend to lack memory in their receivers.

I mentioned it here so E tech would be aware of it.. Does sound like a overworked computer./

Yep, thats what I am thinking as well. It reminds me of my computer where you have to wait on it to free up some space before it continues what it is doing. At least you can upgrade your computer (most anyways) where you cant upgrade the receivers. This comes back to what I said a good while back. They should make receivers upgradable by replacing memory, hard drives, and chip boards. It would be cheaper than replacing the whole receiver and they could make it tailored for particular things.
