I'd say call in and once again tell them to take it off. It will only show as a line listing at 0.00 since the season hasn't started yet. Right before it does it will ding your account for the early bird renewal rate.
If you log onto your online account you can remove it from there.

I couldn't. I tried that and a little message popped up saying i need to call directv to remove Sunday Ticket. They want you to call, so they can ask you why you are cancelling

I decided to check mine as well. I removed it from my account in December '08, January '09, February '09 and again today. This gets old. On top of that, my commitment date has been screwed up since August '08 when I replaced a defective receiver under the protection plan. It reset the date. I called it was corrected, I verified. Today, it was wrong again. I guess I'll repeat the process. Does anyone else notice a pattern or is it just me? I should point out that I have been a customer since 1995 and I'm quite seasoned to the ways of Directv. Should I constantly have to check my account and battle with directv all the time?
Seeing that on your bill means that NFL Sunday Ticket has not been removed off of your account. Does it say something along the lines of.... NFL Sunday Ticket $0.00 No Payment Due Yet? If it does that means you still will receive it and will be billed for it more than likely starting in July or if not by then certainly August. You will need to call DirecTv back if you are sure that you are going to cancel the package. If you intend on keeping the package it would be smart to call and tell them to start billing you for it now so you can save $20 off the regular season price by getting the Early Bird Offer. The NFL Package is very nice to have but i will admit it is starting to get too steep in price. I am still waiting to find out if they will do away with the Superfan like they have with the MLB Extra Innings Package. $99 is too much to pay for the games in high definition on Superfan. It is highway robbery.

When I activated a receiver a couple weeks ago I asked a CSR about Sunday Ticket. The item showing up on your bill does indeed mean that they will start billing soon. Also the CSR confirmed that there was no need to do anything to renew at the Early Bird Price. I was told the auto renew price was the same. Of course we all know how reliable that information may be.

Called earlier this week to remove ST...OK no problem, look today and now SF is on there and ST has not been removed both saying $0.00, so i called to get it removed, the guy asks me why, I say i don't want to pay for it, he says you are getting it for free, I laughed out loud and said are you sure, he says "yes I double checked" I said fine please add a note that I called to remove it and you advised me i was getting it for free and that you double checked to make sure and this was why it was NOT removed today, he said no problem and added the note and told me if there is a problem reference the note on 5/29/09 at 11:14 am.
I am 100% sure i will have to call back and cancel once they charge me, but figured I would see what happens when i call back and reference the note

I have a note in my IPhone with the CSR name and date and time I first called to cancel. If you search, you will find this exact same thread from last year. I don't why it is such an ordeal to remove Sunday Ticket. I don't like that you can't remove it on the web (why even have the remove checkbox if I can't do it?). I wonder if they think we will forget we decided to cancel. Or if we will just say aw shucks when they bill us for it and not raise a stink?

Ok fellow DBS talk members looks like D* is puliing the same old cuca cuca:D again this year.
There was a problem when i cancelled at the end of the 2007 season only to get a suprise in JUNE 2008 that my sub had been renewed.
Last year the test channel was 107 and more info and discussion can be found at the link below,

you must have the line item on your bill as follows:
NFL Sunday ticket Will Not renew for 200x
as legit proof your are cancelled.

Tell them to take it off and if it shows up again you are not calling back and if it gets activated you aren't paying for it....

The best choice is to send them an email or use the "contact us" option from the website.
Two years ago I called to cancel Sunday Ticket, and the CSR said "OK, it is canceled".
A few months later I got charged the first installment for the following season.
I spent less time sending an email to credit the charge and correctly cancel Sunday Ticket that I spent with the first call, plus it actually got canceled and I have written proof that it got done.

Same here. Thanks for the heads up.. I signed up last September when they offered 4 payments at $75 a month and D* would give their pemium package for free. I canceled back in December '08 and as of May 29, 2009, it shows up in my account for renewal. I called to cancel. I will continue to monitor my account. It seem July is when the charge will take affect.

so...how much is the SuperFan for 2009-2010?:confused:
I was speaking to a CSR last night about an unrelated issue and she saw that I was a previous NFL ST subscriber. She indicated that the price for this year is 6 payments at $45.99 and that SuperFan is included this year.
I'm not sure how accurate this is, but that's what I was told last night.

SF was not included in that price.
