Hi there, I installed my SWL 5 LNB kaku yesterday. Have strong readings on 119-110-103 (all over 80). I have two receivers, the non HD one is working perfectly, however the HD one seems to be trying to find some channels...such as 501, etc. Do I need a Zinwell WB68 or did I potentially miss something in the setup?

How many IRDs [ boxes ], what type of boxes? Give us a full set of signal readings. 101, 103c, 99c. Signals should be 90+.

Ok so no need for the zinwell. So you have one D1x and one H2x right.

On the HD box is the BBC installed? It's the small boxed pictured below.

You should have signal on almost all 101 transponders not just 16 and 28. You might be looking the wrong way.

On the HD box what is the signal for the 103 and 99 satellites. You'll need to set that up for 5LNB slimline.

Also what settings did you use for the dish re: elevation and tilt?

Yes you need a lot of fine tuning. In your case 103b needs to be in low to mid 90s. Don't worry about 103a.
Also H23 doesn't need BBC AFAIK.

I would try with elevation adjustments first, make sure the right bolts are loos and the right ones tight. For elevation the inside one tight, but not locked down, the outside ones loose.

IF all is well then 99b should be equally strong as 103b
