Under the terms of the agreement, DISH will continue to carry the signals of stations which Sinclair owns and operates, programs or provides sales services. The agreement also provides DISH with certain rights to carry local content produced by Sinclair on a video-on-demand basis.Video on demand? Does Sinclair produce anything worth putting on VOD?I could maybe see a "News from Home" feature being added, starting with many of Sinclair's 35 markets. It would be a way for Dish to offer one of the benefits of distant stations without violating the court injunction or the exclusivity of local stations.
