No locals discount

I used to have a special HSP package without locals and had to pay $6 for my locals.

Is there a way to take off locals of my current package and save?

I can easily get OTA on my HR20 and if the saving are $6 a month ( once read it would only save $3 ) a AM21 would pay for itself in a few months on my HR22.

DirecTV only charges $3 for the locals. If you called you could probably have them take the locals off. Those packages wont show online so you would have to call every time you wanted to change it.

We had Directv installed in my moms home. Directv had an issue with her picking up her locals based on the sat they are on. We called to try to get them to give us a credit as she could not get her locals. We were told repeatively that it was part of the package and turning them off would not mean they would lower the price. We tried to explain that she could not get them and they did not care. So I doubt they would allow you a credit based on not wanting one. If you find someone who does this for you, please pass me their information so we can call them. She is still without locals a year later and not credit and was denied waivers for distant feeds.
