721 Hardrive Failure

Anyone else have this happen to them. Two days ago my unit froze and rebooted on its own and format the hardrive and rewrote the image. Needless to say everything was deleted. In the last two days it has done this four times. I talked with dishnet tech support and they are sending out another unit. Apparently, according to dishnetwork it cannot be fixed. Just wondered if this was an isolated incident.

same thing happened to me, twice...
on receipt of the third unit replacement,
DISH sent out their own installers to
ground my system properly...it has
been almost 3 months and i have
not had any fatal crashes *knocking
on wood*...is your system properly
grounded???

My 721 hard drive did the "clean sweep" after about 2 months. Dish send a new one out and waived shipping since I am on the CC autopay. So far so good with the second one, but it has only been about 2 weeks.

I had a 501 hard drive fail once or twice and I have heard of a few other people saying their 721's hard drive are failing.
