Do any one of the following receiver resets result in a different or more complete reset?
1. Power off-on.
2. Restart receiver from system setup.
3. Red button reset.

If this is the power button, it does nothing.
best way to do a reset as it will be "nicer" than the RBR
the RBR is just like your computer and doing a "hard reset" you can end up with drive problems, though rare, and use this if you have no other option
Pulling the power cord for ten mins can allow for more things to "clear" as it lets everything bleed off any stored power and do a "cold boot".
